About Me

Professional Summary

As product owner, I have the responsibility to lead new product development for SaaS eCommerce products and platforms.

In previous organization, as a Senior Business Solution Consultant, I managed 4 major accounts for my current employer, building customer-centric features over our flagship SaaS commerce product – a white-label marketplace platform for SaaS commerce. Alongside, I had the responsibility as the de facto Product Owner of a product module – the Migration Tool. Solving complex customer problems through innovative solutions, I have excelled as a consultant in achieving my goals of elevating the Gross Merchandise Value and increasing the net promoter score. At the same time, innovation, empathy, and requirement understanding have made me successful as a Product owner.

I come from a background of managing multiple teams & have honed strong people management skills. My current role requires my presence in multiple realms of business consulting, customer success, requirement ownership, and product ownership. I have executed the full software application and business intelligence development lifecycle and managed tech teams with involvement in the design-build, user acceptance, and implementation phase. I have in-depth knowledge of scrum and agile methodologies and I have managed multiple projects with full exposure to all phases of the software development life cycle - SDLC.

During the last decade, I have gained rich exposure working with vivid clientele, and various engineering and customer-facing teams. I have inculcated unique skills that have enabled me to build robust & focused customer-centric teams, solve customer business problems and resolve conflicts. As a senior consultant for my company, I have had the opportunity to explore the business intricacies and impact of complex solutions. Observing such sensitive systems and working extensively in a client-facing environment have made me realize the complexity of affairs that may arise while doing business. Everything is so intertwined that a cause in one aspect of the business may have far-reaching effects in other aspects. Often, I have represented my company in front of customers outside my home country. Such experiences have taught me to work in culturally diverse groups and reaffirmed in me the need for maturity.

Once, earlier in my career as a Manager, I have worked on a complete overhaul of the Engineering's view of customer engagements from a reactive model to a proactive model. During the process, I also liaised with various teams & functional heads to identify & stop any revenue leakage due to inefficient efforts’ billing & maximize returns by helping teams increase efficiency & optimize the turnaround time for the deliveries. In fact, there are many such examples, where I optimized operational efficiency and was part of activities that increased the net promoter satisfaction (NPS).

In another example, empathy towards the daily challenges of our product’s end-users inspired an organization-wide knowledge-sharing drive. A rich product manual would not only enable end-users to have an enriching self-serve experience of product features to its fullest potential but also reduce the consulting/support overhead. With an aim to create a template product manual, I executed my idea as a pilot project for one of the product modules – Migration Tool. Most of our customers were mature subscription commerce businesses who, soon after onboarding into the SaaS marketplace, want to migrate their existing business to the new platform using the "Migration Tool". My efforts created extensive internal documentation, one external training module, and one certification exam. Better documentation and training reduced the handholding required, thereby reducing unnecessary costs. Reaping multi-fold benefits, such an exercise gave insights to incorporate more user-friendly workflows. Moreover, the reduction in queries reinforced customer confidence increasing our Net-promoter-satisfaction scores.

Now is the time to evolve. I am looking for the right projects that would allow me to use the knowledge and experience that I have gained during my professional journey. My ascension to a twenty-first-century global leader is imminent.
